You've got the idea for a new business,

you have excitement driving your energy...

and a long to-do list.

But before you spend your first dollar, there's one move that can save you enormous headaches: getting your bookkeeping set up the right way, right from the start.

Your First Call Should Be to an Accountant or Bookkeeper!

Before anything else:

before buying supplies,

signing up for software,

or paying any business expense

sit down with an accounting professional and build your **Chart of Accounts (COA).

A Chart of Accounts is the master list of every financial "bucket" your business uses to track money. Think of it as a filing system where every dollar has a home: assets, liabilities, equity, revenue, and expenses.

When the COA is built before day one, every transaction lands in the right place from the very first purchase.

Cleaning up messy books later is painful, and trying to recreate a poorly planned Chart of Accounts just adds to that pain.

You don't need to hire someone full-time. Even a few hours with a bookkeeper or CPA at the start will save you many of hours.

Starting organized is the best gift you can give yourself and your new business!
